Kathie Lee Gifford Reveals How Donald Trump ‘Saved’ Her and Her Daughter’s Lives in the ’90s – Video

In a recent interview, Kathie Lee Gifford recounted a harrowing experience from the 1990s when Donald Trump intervened to protect her and her newborn daughter from a dangerous stalker. While en route to host the “Miss America” pageant in Atlantic City, Gifford’s late husband, Frank Gifford, received a call from the FBI informing him of a death threat against Kathie Lee from a psychopathic murderer. The FBI advised Frank to maintain their regular schedule to avoid alerting the suspect.

Concerned for their safety, Frank reached out to Donald Trump, who immediately assured him, “I’ve got your girls. I’ve got your girls and don’t you worry.” The next day, Trump arranged for his private helicopter to transport Kathie Lee, her daughter, and their nanny safely to Atlantic City. Upon arrival, they were met by four of Trump’s security personnel, who provided protection throughout their stay. Kathie Lee remained unaware of the full extent of the threat until she read a newspaper headline about it. The stalker was eventually apprehended.

Kathie Lee expressed deep gratitude toward Trump, stating, “That’s my friend. Donald saved my life, saved my daughter’s life and if I called him today [he] would save it again.” She emphasized that many people are unaware of this side of Trump, highlighting his significant role in ensuring their safety during that perilous time.
